The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination for various posts. The SSC CHSL Salary is divided into Pay Level 2, 4 and 5 categories. SSC CHSL Perks and Allowances

The Staff Selection Commission salary payment includes various allowances with additional benefits to successful candidates. House Rent Allowance (HRA) is for paying rent in the job posting city for staying arrangement. It varies depending on the employee’s posting location. According to the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, the HRA percentages are structured as follows:

Transport Allowance (TA) is provided to cover employees’ daily travel expenses. Employees posted in cities receive Rs. 3600 as TA, while those in other locations receive Rs. 1800 as TA.

Dearness Allowance (DA) is a cost-of-living adjustment given to employees. According to the 7th Pay Commission, the current DA rate is 34% of the basic pay.

The Leave Travel Concession (LTC) allows Central Government employees to travel to their hometown or other parts of the country with reimbursement benefits.
