SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2025 Tier 1 

The SSC CHSL exam pattern 2025 will have 100 questions, which will carry 200 marks. The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes and 80 minutes will be provided to PWD candidates. The exam is divided into four sections,  English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness each containing 25 questions and having a maximum score of 50 marks.

Updated SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2025 Tier-2 

Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level has updated the exam pattern for Tier 2. Candidates who clear the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam will be able to sit for the Tier 2. The Tier 2 exam is divided into two sessions, each comprising specific sections as outlined below.

  • Session I: This session includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) across various modules.
  • Session II: Focuses on evaluating candidates’ typing speed and skills through a Typing Test/Skill Test.

SSC CHSL Exam Details 2025

Question Format
The questions in the exam will be objective type and available in English, Hindi, and any other language chosen by the candidates.

Negative Marking
Both Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the SSC CHSL Exam include negative marking:

  • Tier 1: 0.50 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • Tier 2: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer in Section 1, Section 2, and Module I of Section 3.
