JNVST Exam 2025: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Exam Application Form in July 16th, 2024. The Navodaya 6th Class Admission Test 2025 is expected to be conducted in two phases – Phase 1 and Phase 2.

The Phase 1 JNVST Exam will be scheduled on January 18, 2025. The phase 2 JNVST 6th class exam will likely take place in the last April 12, 2025. The JNV Class 9 Exam will be scheduled in mid-February.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Clas 6

The JNVST registrations for Class 6 admissions 2025 started on July 16, 2024. The last date to apply online is September 16, 2024. The Phase 1 exam will be conducted on Jamuary 18, 2025, for certain states and districts. The Phase 2 exam took place on April 12, 2025, for the remaining states and UTs.

Students studying in Class 5 are eligible to appear for the JNVST Class 6 exam if they meet other eligibility criteria related to age, residence, etc. The JNVST admit cards were released separately for Phase 1 and 2 exams in October 2024 and December 2024 respectively.

The JNVST Class 6 pen and paper-based exam tests students in Mental Ability, Arithmetic, and Language. The JNVST result will be announced soon after the examination on navodaya.gov.in. Shortlisted students will be granted admission to one of the 649 Navodaya Vidyalayas across India.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 9

The application process for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2024 for admission to Class 9 will start in October 2024. Students who want admission in JNVs in Class 9 for the academic session 2025-26 can fill out and submit the online application form from October 1 to November 15, 2024.

The admit cards for the JNVST 2025 Class 9 entrance exam will be released by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in the 3rd week of January 2025, around January 19, 2025. Registered candidates will be able to download their JNVST Class 9 admit card 2025 using their application number and password.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Exam 2024-25 Class 9

The JNV Selection Test for admission to Class 9 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across India will be organized on February 10, 2025. The exam will be conducted in offline written test mode by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

The JNVST 2025 result for Class 9 is expected to be declared by NVS in March 2025, most probably by March 20. Selected candidates will be admitted to Class 9 in JNVs across the country for the academic year 2025-26.

Candidates must have been born between May 1, 2011, to July 31, 2013, to be eligible for JNVST 2025 Class 9 admission. The selection test will assess candidates’ knowledge and skills in subjects like English, Hindi, Maths, and Science through objective type multiple choice questions.

JNVST Navodaya Vidyalaya Eligibility for Class 6 2025

To apply for admission to Class 6 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) in 2024, students must:

  • Belong to the district where the JNV they are applying to is located
  • Be born between May 1, 2012, and July 31, 2014
  • Currently, be in Class 5 in a recognized school in the same district
  • Have studied from Class 3 to 5 in a recognized rural school if applying under the rural quota
  • Not have been promoted to Class 5 after July 31, 2023
  • Appear for JNVST only once

The JNVST Exam 2024 Syllabus for Class 6 consists of three main subjects: Mental Ability Test, Arithmetic Test, and Language Test.
