RRB NTPC Age Limit

The RRB NTPC examination is divided into two levels: undergraduate (12th standard) and graduate. Candidates applying for undergraduate positions must be between 18 and 33 years of age, while those seeking graduate-level positions must be aged between 18 and 36 years as of 01/01/2025.

RRB NTPC Age Relaxation 2025

Candidates from various categories are eligible for age relaxations under the RRB NTPC Age Limit. The category-wise age relaxations are outlined in the table below along with RRB NTPC criteria for OBC:

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2025 – Eye Standards

Medical Standard NTPC Eye Criteria
A2 Distance vision: 6/9 with or without glasses (no fogging test); near vision: Sn = 0.6 with or without glasses. Candidates must also pass tests for color vision, binocular vision, night vision, and myopic vision.
A3 Distance vision: 6/9 with or without glasses (lens power must not exceed 2D); near vision: Sn = 0.6 with or without glasses. Candidates must pass tests for color vision, binocular vision, night vision, and myopic vision.
B2 Distance vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (lens power must not exceed 4D); near vision: Sn = 0.6 with or without glasses for reading or close work. Candidates must also pass a field of vision (binocular vision) test, among others.
C2 Distance vision: 6/12, 6/18 (with or without glasses); near vision: Sn = 0.6 with or without glasses for reading or close work.
