BPSC TRE 4.0 is divided into 3 level of teaching and so is the educational qualification for all these levels.   • Higher Secondary School (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or any other equivalent qualification)
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 45% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education acquired by the Council of Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulations 2002
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • Graduation degree along with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or any equivalent qualification)
  • Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree
  • Post Graduation degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade, along with a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. qualification + CTET Paper 1 or BTET Paper 1 Qualified.

BPSC TRE 4.0 Educational Qualification for Secondary Teacher

In BPSC TRE 4.0, educational qualification for the secondary level teacher varies from primary teacher. It is the addition to the primary level teacher requirement. BPSC TRE 4.0 Educational Qualification for PGT Teacher

To be eligible for the position of Higher Secondary Teacher in Bihar under BPSC TRE 4.0, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Hold a master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. 
  2. Bachelors in Education(B. Ed), BA.Ed., or BSc.Ed. degree from a recognized university or institute.
  3. Have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks +  3-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. qualification(Intergrated B. Ed-M. Ed degree).
  4. Additionally, all candidates must have qualified for the STET exam.

Applicants wishing to apply for the BPSC TRE 4.0 positions must be citizens of India and domiciled residents of Bihar.
