UGC NET 2024 Exam Date

The UGC NET June exam 2024 will be held on a single day,  All 83 June 18, 2024. subject examinations will be taken in single shifts (either one or two). Previously, the UGC NET exam date was June 16, 2024, which was postponed because of the collision with the UPSC CSE (Civil Services Exam) on June 16, 2024.

UGC NET 2024 Age Limit

There is no maximum age limit for individuals intending to take the UGC NET exam for Assistant Professor. However, for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) position, candidates must be 30 years of age or younger. Nonetheless, candidates must satisfy additional criteria to qualify for the UGC NET exam. 1. As of June 1, 2024, candidates must not exceed 30 years of age to be eligible for NTA NET JRF.

2. There are no age restrictions for applying for the Assistant Professor position.

3. Reserved category candidates are eligible for a five-year age relaxation.

UGC NET Salary 2024 would range between Rs. 30000 to Rs. 60000. According to the 7th Pay Commission, the UGC NET In Hand Salary for applicants who qualify for the Assistant Professor position in a university or college starts at around Rs. 40,000, plus many other bonuses and allowances.
