Before applying for AISSEE, students must check their eligibility. Students who want to apply for AISSEE Admission 2025 can check the eligibility criteria for class 6 and class 9 provided below.
AISSEE Class 6 Application Eligibility 2024-25
Both girls and boys can apply for Sainik School Class 6 admission by filling out the online form for AISSEE 2024. However, more seats are available for boys compared to girls.
To be eligible, the student’s age must be between 10 and 12 years as of March 31, 2025. This means their date of birth should fall between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015 (including both these dates).
AISSEE Class 9 Application Eligibility 2024-25
- Only boys currently studying in Class 8 from a recognized school in India are eligible to fill out the Sainik School registration form for Class 9 admission.
- The student’s age must be between 13-15 years as on March 31, 2025. Their date of birth should be between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2012 (including both dates).
- An important note: Each student can apply for admission to only one Sainik School while filling AISSEE 2024 registration form.

Step 1: Go to exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/ and click on the Sainik school notification link
Step 2: Click on “New registration” button on the new page
Step 3: Read carefully and check the disclaimer box, then proceed
Step 4: Fill in your personal and contact details
Step 5: Set a password with at least one special character, uppercase, lowercase, and number
Step 6: Choose a security question and provide the answer (case-sensitive)
Step 7: Click “Submit” to save the form. The review page will open
Step 8: Review the entire form and enable the checkboxes to confirm
Step 9: Click “Final Submit” to submit the registration
