The Sainik School Eligibility Criteria for the 2025 entrance exam is set by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It applies to both Class 6 and Class 9 admissions. The Sainik School Admission Process is conducted every year by the NTA through the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2025.

• Class 6: Students should be between 10 and 12 years old as of March 31, 2025.

AISSEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria for New Sainik Schools Under 40% Route

Students falling within this age range are eligible to apply for admission to Class VI in approved New Sainik Schools under the 40% route. For admission to approved New Sainik Schools under the 40% route, the Sainik School Eligibility 2025 requirements are as follows:

• The candidate should be between 10 and 12 years of age as of March 31, 2025.
• Their birth dates should fall between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2012 (both days inclusive).

AISSEE Eligibility Criteria for New Sainik Schools Under 60% Route

Students who fall in this age criteria can submit their application form online for class 6th in approved New Sainik School under the 40% route. For admission to approved New Sainik Schools under the 60% route, the eligibility requirements are as follows:

• The candidate should be between 10 and 12 years old as of March 31, 2025, for admission to Class VI.
• Their birth dates should fall between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015 (both days inclusive) for the academic year 2025-26.

Sainik School Class 6th Eligibility 2025 

The Class 6 Sainik School eligibility criteria is given below.

• Nationality: Only Indian students can apply for Sainik School Admission 2025.
• Education qualification: The Candidate must be studying in class V in a recognized school.
• Age criteria: The candidate should be between 10 and 12 years old as of 31^st March 2025 for admission to the class. Their birth dates should fall between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015 (both days inclusive).
• Gender: male and female both candidates can apply.

Sainik School Class 9th Eligibility 2025
