NVS Navodaya 2025 Notification Important Dates

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) released the NVS Navodaya 2025 Notification on July 16, 2024, and invited online applications from July 16 to September 16, 2024. Eligibility for Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2025

Admission of candidates to Class VI in a JNV is district-specific. A candidate studying in Class V in a district can apply for admission to a JNV in the same district only. Only bona fide residents of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located and studying in Class V in the same district are eligible to apply for admission to JNVs through JNVST. The candidate must reside in the district where they are seeking admission to the JNV located in the same district. Candidates must understand the NVS Navodaya 2025 Notification before applying for the JNVS 2025 exam.

The candidate must study Class V in any of the government or government-recognized schools located in the same district during the 2024-25 academic session.

Candidates who have passed Class V before the 2024-25 session or are repeater candidates are not eligible to apply for NVS Class VI Admission 2024.

At least 75% of the seats in a district will be filled by candidates provisionally selected from rural areas of the district. The remaining seats are open and will be filled on merit from both urban and rural area candidates of the district as per the selection criteria. A candidate seeking admission under the rural quota must have studied in Classes III, IV, and V, completing full academic sessions from government, government-aided, or government-recognized schools located in rural areas.

NVS Navodaya 2025 Notification Age Limit

For admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) through JNVST 2025, candidates must fulfill the following age criteria:

1. Minimum Age: The candidate should have been born between May 1, 2013, and April 30, 2015 (both dates inclusive).

JNVST Class-6 Admission: Documents Required After Selection
